In School Field Trips (K-5)

Fun and Easy Science, LLC is “A Traveling Science Program.” We offer fun and educational 60 to 90 minute in school hands-on science experiences. Our inquiry–based programs inspire children to be creative and innovative while applying scientific techniques.

The Fine Print:
· Our fee is $7.00 per student. Minimum 2 classes. Minimum $280.

· Teachers, parents and teacher aids are welcome to participate free of charge.

· All materials are supplied by Fun and Easy Science, LLC.Making Reservations:
· Reservations required at least one month in advance.

· There is a $100.00 non-refundable deposit. Deposit is applied to total balance.

· Final student numbers must be submitted one week before field trip.

The Classes

Wackly Wiggly Worms

Learn the proper way to compost.
Discuss living and nonliving things.
Construct a worm condo for the classroom. Each student takes home their very own worm environment.

Water Worries

Explore the importance of Earth's water. Find out who contaminates Earth's water. Design your own system to clean dirty water.

Renewable Energy - Great for April!

Learn about other sources of energy besides petroleum.
Wind, water and biomass.
Make a windmill, and have it power a light bulb.

75-90 minutes

Fun With Forces

Step into Newton's world by exploring potential and kinetic energy.
Power a race car.
Make your own rockets.
Design your own hover craft using recycled materials!

It's Electric: No Batteries Required

Discuss simple circuits: series and parallel.
Light up a bulb or sound buzzer with no battery power.
Turn a nail into a magnet and power a mini light bulb with a generator.

Just in Case- Great before summer break!

Solve a mini crime scene.
Learn about Fingerprints and DNA.
Write name in DNA code!
Each child takes their own fingerprints and DNA to put into a child safety kit.
Make edible model of DNA.
